Handbuilding
Pinch, coil and slab techniques for making pots, plates and sculptural pieces by hand. No wheel needed, and a lovely way to start.
Pottery painting
A relaxed session decorating ceramic pieces with glazes and colour. Good for friends, families and anyone who wants a gentle creative evening.

Your teacher
Kevin Keane is the potter behind Potadoir. After a beginners' throwing course in Dublin in 2022, he travelled overland from Ireland to Morocco learning in studios and masterclasses along the way, then worked in Oslo before setting up in Co. Clare. His handmade Burren Collection is now stocked at Newbridge Silverware. Meet Kevin and Dzana.
Pottery and yoga under one roof
Potadoir is a pottery school and yoga studio in one space. Pair a class at the wheel with a session on the mat: see our yoga classes in Ennis. Prefer to take something home? Shop our handmade ceramics or give a pottery class gift voucher.
